If you are taking the Philosophy coursework dissertation, you must select two courses from this group (see advice above). Honours courses in Language Sciences (LEL) are grouped into the following categories: Foundation, Skills, Linguistics, and English Language. You may also have the option of taking one or two Guided Research courses. There are no restrictions on which categories you can select courses from. Full details on course categories are available in the LEL Honours Handbook. Be aware that some courses appear in more than one category, but you cannot take the same course twice. You may take Guided Research C (Semester 1) and/or Guided Research D (Semester 2) as options in LEL. Both courses can be taken if you wish. Select between 0 and 180 credits from Level 9 -11 courses in the School of Informatics.
