You should select one Philosophy course from this group. If you wish to take more than one course from this group, you may choose additional Philosophy courses as part of your optional credits. You must take 20-60 credits (1-3 courses) of PPLS and Informatics courses. Examples: - You could take Psychology 1A, Logic 1, and Morality and Value to make up to 60 credits of PPLS/Informatics courses. - You could take 20 credits in PPLS/Informatics (e.g., History of Philosophy A only) and use your remaining 40 credits for courses outside PPLS/Informatics. Planning ahead for Psychology dissertations: - If you are considering a Psychology dissertation that involves ADVANCED statistical methods and following quantitatively demanding honours courses, you are advised to take Data Analysis for Psychology in R1 (DAPR1) in Year 1, followed by DAPR2 and DAPR3 in later years. - If you are considering a Psychology dissertation that involves BASIC statistical methods and following moderately quantitative honours courses, you should take AT LEAST DAPR1, either in Year 1 or Year 2. Taking DAPR1 in Year 1 followed by DAPR2 in Year 2 is also recommended in this case. Planning ahead for Year 2 Informatics: - Students intending to take Informatics courses in Year 2 should take both Informatics 1 - Intro to Computation, and Informatics 1 - Object Oriented Programming in Year 1.
